Hi! We're on the lookout for a vibrant Operations Assistant to join Noda, a licensed UK Payment Institution and the brains behind an innovative Open Banking payments platform. If you're fueled by fintech excitement and seek a global career journey, keep reading!
What is Noda?
Noda is reshaping online payments, allowing seamless transactions from customers to merchants' bank accounts. With a footprint in the UK, EU, Canada, and Australia (Singapore up next!), we're seeking a talented Operations Assistant to be part of our dynamic team.
Your mission:
- Receiving/collecting and sending physical mail (letters, packages, orders).
- Submitting and retrieving documents to/from the notary or other authority institutions.
- Simple email/phone communication – e.g. sending standardized notices to partners, forwarding mail correspondence, visit arrangements.
- Ordering courier pick-ups in different locations where the company operates.
- Manual tasks in MS Office – e.g. Creating simple lists and Excel sheets; making minor edits to documents, presentations, diagrams etc. according to the provided instructions; converting files.
- Occasional help to the office manager with ordering snacks and stationary for the office (paper, pens, etc.).
- Occasional help to HR department – such as, assistance in preparations for the company events, assistance in wrapping the presents and organizing the delivery of the gifts, assistance in preparing standardized business trip, vacation orders etc.
- Ad hoc requests from the Operations team.
What are your skills and experience:
- Exceptional attention to details and instructions.
- Critical thinking.
- Task prioritization and time management skills.
- Responsibility, honesty, reliability.
- Knowledge of Russian, Latvian, and English languages (B2 or higher).
- Skills in working with MS Office and other document preparation & categorization tools (Adobe Acrobat, Canva, SharePoint etc.)
- Previous experience in Office Management, Executive Assistance, or Legal Assistance is a plus.
Nice to have:
- Category B driving license
