What is Noda?
Noda is reshaping online payments, allowing seamless transactions from customers to merchants' bank accounts. With a footprint in the UK, EU, Canada, and Australia (Singapore up next!), we're seeking a talented Compliance Officer (Acquiring) to be part of our team.
Your mission:
As a member of our small yet dynamic Acquiring team, you will play a crucial role in driving our new card processing products forward. You'll act at the intersection of two key responsibilities: compliance and account management.
On the compliance side, you'll take ownership of:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining robust compliance policies and procedures for acquiring business lines, ensuring alignment with card scheme rules;
- Overseeing merchant onboarding processes, including risk assessment, BRAM violations, enhanced due diligence for high-risk merchants, and ongoing monitoring to detect suspicious activities or policy breaches;
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of all compliance activities, risk assessments, and audit findings;
- Conducting regular compliance risk assessments, gap analyses, and internal audits of acquiring operations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
On the account management side, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing end-to-end KYC and onboarding process with acquiring partners;
- Proactively and efficiently resolving any issues and questions with internal and external stakeholders (including technical, financial, legal, and accounting teams);
- Acting as the first point of contact for multiple partners;
- Ensuring correct and timely communication with acquiring partners;
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping, document filing, and archiving;
- Taking on other responsibilities as required with the project growth.
Your skills and experience:
- 3+ years in the payments industry, with a heavy focus on Acquiring;
- In-depth knowledge of acquiring business, card scheme rules, AML/CTF regulations, and data protection standards;
- Independence in task management;
- Proactivity in resolving arising issues;
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management;
- Strong skills in English and Russian (both written and spoken, min. level B2+);
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal, Business Management or equivalent would be an advantage.
