What is Noda?
Noda is reshaping online payments, allowing seamless transactions from customers to merchants' bank accounts. With a footprint in the UK, EU, and Canada (Australia up next!), we're seeking a talented Merchant Onboarding Specialist with a strong background in e-commerce and card acquiring to be part of our dynamic team.
Your mission:
Your mission will be to manage the full onboarding lifecycle of merchants. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with high-volume onboarding and deep familiarity with industry compliance standards, particularly those set by Visa, Mastercard, and WebShield.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the complete onboarding process for new e-commerce merchants, from initial intake to go-live.
- Collect, verify, and compile full KYC/KYB documentation for internal compliance assessments.
- Act as a key liaison between the Sales team and Compliance, ensuring clarity and completeness of all onboarding requirements.
- Identify and escalate missing, incorrect, or non-compliant documentation proactively.
- Keep merchant onboarding records consistently updated in the CRM system, including all documents, timelines, and status notes.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Compliance, Risk, and Technical teams to ensure smooth and timely onboarding.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in onboarding procedures and documentation flow.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 200 completed merchant onboardings in the card acquiring space, specifically for e-commerce businesses.
- Direct experience using WebShield for onboarding and compliance screening.
- Skilled in retrieving KYC/KYB data from official public registries and other reliable sources.
- Strong understanding of Visa and Mastercard Accepted Industries policies, onboarding risk standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of KYC/KYB documentation, merchant risk profiles, and onboarding process flows.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and onboarding tools.
- Strong command of English (spoken and written).
- Highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable managing multiple onboarding cases simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
