At Noda we’re building seamless Open Banking solutions that make payments smarter, faster, and safer. We’re now looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET/C#) to join our team, take ownership of key merchant relationships, and drive their long-term growth with Noda.

What is Noda?

Noda is reshaping online payments, enabling seamless transactions from customers directly to merchants’ bank accounts. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer (.NET/C#) to strengthen our merchant relationships and help our clients get the most out of Noda’s payment solutions.

Your mission:

• Develop and maintain backend services for payment processing and the back office: reconciliation, payouts, fee calculation, settlements and the B2B client dashboard;

• Build resilient integrations and asynchronous workflows (idempotency, outbox/inbox, sagas, retries, deduplication);

• Meet performance and reliability targets (p95/p99 latency, SLA/SLO), set up monitoring and alerting;

• Deliver tasks with AI agents, validate the generated code, add tests and fix defects;

• Review code, keep specifications up to date and share knowledge with the team.
  

Your skills and experience:

• 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and ASP.NET Core, including experience designing microservices.

• Hands-on experience with Azure, Docker, AKS, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and Cosmos DB.

• Practical experience with AI tools or agents, delivering tasks from definition to working results, with the ability to understand and explain every line of code shipped.

• Strong focus on clean, maintainable code with tests.

• Strong ownership and open communication, especially when something goes wrong.
  

Nice to have:

• Experience in payments or banking.

• Familiarity with spec-driven development.

• Experience in product companies or startups.

• Mentoring or technical leadership experience.
